Bright House Networks Recognizes Employees Making A Difference In Their CommunitiesOrlando, FL – (February 8, 2008) –Bright House Networks recognized 10 employees last night at their annual Crystal House Awards Gala held this year in St. Petersburg Beach at the Trade Winds Grand Resort. The winners of the 2008 Bright House Networks Crystal House Awards were rewarded for exemplifying an extraordinary commitment within their individual communities. Each winner embodies a strong sense of philanthropy and social responsibility and has consistently made a significant difference where they live and work.
For 2008, the Crystal House Award winners include: Ken Followell (Tampa Bay/Manatee Region), Betty Steelman (Central Florida/North Operations), Patty Werner (Bakersfield, California), Arcadia Washington (Birmingham, Alabama), Laura Rida (Detroit, Michigan), Kimy Brown (Indianapolis, Indiana) , Debby Clues (Bay News 9/Tampa Bay) , Ybeth Bruzual (Central Florida News 13/Orlando), Dana Dieckman (Corporate/Orlando) and Bob McCann, Division President (Detroit, Michigan).
The Crystal House Award winners received a Crystal House trophy, a check for $2,000, a donation of $3,000 to the charity of their choice and a two-night, all expense paid trip to the Trade Winds Grand Resort in St. Petersburg Beach, Florida.
In addition, the winners along with several Bright House Networks executives attended the annual gala featuring guest speaker, Mia Farrow, who is a children’s advocate, author and actor. At the event, Farrow shared her journey through Darfur and what the world should know about the people in the Central region of Africa. In addition, she emphasized the power of one person’s commitment to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Crystal House Awards is three years old and has recognized over a dozen employees for their outstanding work throughout the communities Bright House Networks serves nationally.
