Bright House Networks Honors Lake County Sheriff Chris Daniels
Through Its Making Life Easier Outreach
Maitland, FL – January 24, 2007 – Bright House Networks will deliver Thursday a new High Definition television to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch in Barberville in memory of Lake County Sheriff Chris Daniels, Sr., company officials announced today.
Lake County Sheriff Chris Daniels, died in a charity school-bus race in Volusia County on Oct. 14, 2006. To honor his memory, Bright House Networks will present the Making Life Easier gift pak to the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch in Barberville, as part of the company’s ongoing Making Life Easier outreach initiative. Attending the ceremony will be Sheriff Daniels’ wife Michelle Daniels, along with Lake County Sheriff Gary Borders and Volusia County Sheriff Ben Johnson.
The Florida Sheriff Youth Ranch is a non-profit, residential child-care and family service organization that provides services to thousands of youth and their families each year. Sheriff Daniels’ commitment to The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches made a significant impact on the lives of many youth during his tenure as Lake County Sheriff.
Although The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranch in Barberville is located outside Bright House Networks coverage area, the company will substitute the one-year subscription to Bright House services by supplying a powered HDTV antenna and a monthly supply of DVDs for the youth ranch.
